I totally agree regarding Voodoo's repeated bookings of the same artist. Umek recently played for the first time in september and he is already booked again for november! Same thing with Craig Walsh! (although you may let them off cos hes part of a primate tour).
Its not the best place for variety of Artist! Bring back the space DJz. Also, I dont think people are into Sims because he is "the latest techno name", I think its more to do with the fact that he's extremely good! Cant say the same for Umek tho! Even though hes one of the best producers going. >-----Original Message----- >From: Cyclone Wehner [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] >Sent: 19 October 2000 01:33 >To: 313 Detroit >Subject: Re: [313] Detroit Techno in England > > >Interesting point - I notice this absence, too, in the magazines. > >But while in Australia a few months ago Claude Young was >saying that he has >never been so busy on the DJ circuit, so it is just the UK, >not the rest of >the world that is losing interest.
