Yeah I will admit.... I don't find myself 'chatting' on list very often. I suppose that makes me a notorious BSPer. For which I apologize. Its not a matter of not wanting to.... its just a matter of finding the time. I rarely find the time to be social very social between the 9to5, family, experimedia, personal projects, and spending time outdoors. Although I have been making it a point to squeeze some real life face to face experiences into my life more often these days.... and thus getting away from the screen. And I have cut off taking on new commitments so I can clear my plate and focus on further developing some personal studio projects which have been building up my head. Next year is Experimedia's 10 year anniversary and I have considered celebrating with a year of silence. Just a thought at this point though.
As far as twitter goes.... you actually dont need a twitter account to follow the news feed. There are several options... you could follow the RSS feed http://twitter.com/statuses/user_timeline/23505953.rss Or you could just follow the experimedia blog which automatically gets a weekly digest of 'tweets' posted to it. http://www.experimedia.net/ Like many, I loathed the twitter platform for quite some time.... seeing its main use appeared to be for people to post up to the minute updates concerning their mundane daily routines. But as more artists and labels started picking up on it and posting relevant information to it I started to grow an appreciation for its efficiency. The main reason for utilizing the twitter platform is its ease of use, efficiency, and short form.... and the fact that I can shoot the feed all over the place avoiding 10 logins to various accounts. Simply trying to find a way to balance out everything I want to do in my life. I struggle with taking on too much and finding myself overwhelmed at times. Which is when I shut everything off and go hiking/biking/rock climbing instead of getting things done. But overall who knows how quiet I will actually stay. I seem to wake up with a different outlook on things daily. So yeah there is a rambling a little more personal than just BSP. ;p -jeremy On Thu, May 28, 2009 at 6:22 AM, Odeluga, Ken <[email protected]> wrote: > I was quite pleased actually that he said he's going to stop. > > It's not that I dislike the publicity per se. > > It's more that beyond the pr, does anyone know that guy? > > I can't remember reading anything where he was just joining in the chat. > > > [I could be wrong]. > > That's weird.... > > Actually, I hope you stay on the list just to chat Jeremy, if you're > reading this... > -----Original Message----- > From: darnistle [mailto:[email protected]] > Sent: Thursday, May 28, 2009 2:58 AM > To: 313 > Subject: Re: (313) Experimedia is moving away from announcements via > mailing lists > > Pity. > > I don't have a twitter account, nor am I inclined to get one. > > I wish you'd continue occasionally posting to the lists.
