event at the Park Plaza hotel in LA, featuring Detroit's 7th City
label. Tempus fugit, eh?
It was a Thursday night. The lineup was:

Anthony "Shake" Shakir (live)
John Tejada (finishing the night by playing a DAT of his then-new
tracks)
One of the most amazing nights of Techno I've ever been witness to.
The kicker?
All of 60-odd people showed up.
Lynn (who is John Tejada's fiancée) gave up on putting on gigs shortly
thereafter. With a turnout like that, who could blame her?
