I got hold of a recording of a live UR pa from new york 1992, it
starts of with sonic destroyer(i think), amazon's on there,
there's also an MC on there (Rob Hood?)
about 4-5 tracks in human resource - dominator drops in and someone (Jeff
Mills?) starts djing, not sure how many records get played cos i'm not
totally familiar with the records that UR were putting out at this time (i
know there recent stuff a lot better) and i'm not sure exactly when the
live pa starts up and the dj stops.
was this the standard fare, live and dj sets combined for the UR pa's?
what was the lineup for UR at the time?
yeah some sort of. although they didn't that many live show
i witnessed their show in ekko in utrecht back in '92 (from the track on
the network comp) - mills, banks and hood aka rob the noise doing mc - all
three waering gas masks / the performance was pretty hard (their harder
tracks) but ok , mills did a really bad dj-set after it, all kind of
pre-gabba - to dissapointment of lots of those who came 'especially' for
some 'real' techno instead of the raving things which were spoiling the
market already
well, nevertheless it was a remarkable night
