Not often I do a mix (I seem to be having a go more recently, I switched from
my old iRiver to an iPhone for my listening so the iRiver just lives plugged
into my decks in need of filling with audio, so maybe more soon!)

However I did one back in June. We did a party in May and though (as usual) in
the heat of the gig I forgot to plug in the iRiver and record, after the gig I
did what I sometimes do and made a mix with the records in my box. Think this
gave a better result anyway as (as well as less under pressure mixing) I got
the chance to play some warm up records I didn't on the night (due to scrum at
the door and fire alarm going off!).

Those records were in part 1 of the mix:

I posted this on our site in June, can't remember if I posted it here.
Odd array of stuff; R&B, old house, jazz, dancehall, a staple from that "Synth
Britannia" doc, then some deep stuff; Ron Trent, dub techno etc.

Now I finally got round to putting part 2 up:

which is nearly all records I actually played on the night, starts with a bit
of disco then straight up house & techno; from Ashford & Simpson to Hess &
Furstenberg ;-) With cheese thrown in in places!
