Panasonic have apparently announced that production of Technics 1200 / 1210s will cease Feb 2010.
(for me at least) :'-( Proper end of an era moment, though of course so solid are they that I imagine some will carry on for many a decade & hopefully eventually get special minority spares manufacture etc. Still... (please let this be a quiet moment of reflection for those interested, rather than an excuse to start the deck / other forms of DJing hating)
