Typical 80's video. Side/snide comment- Fehlmann still had hair...
Palais Schaumburg was pretty formative stuff for me back in the day. I
didn't know at the time that the group started off Thomas Fehlmann,
Moritz von Oswald, and Holger Hiller (those names were important for me
later), and I think also had FM Einheit for a brief time. A far-seeing
DJ on KFJC back in the 80's played a lot of tracks from Schaumburg's
album "Parlez-Vous Schaumburg" and got me interested. Easy Go" was a
favorite, as well as "Beat of Two". I wanted to ask Fehlmann when I
interviewed him back in '99 whether the nice horn fanfare that ushers in
"Beat of Two" was a sample or Synclavier or real horns, but the question
got lost in the hurley-burley. Fehlmann - an unsung techno hero - more
connections than a switchboard....
For a cute/artless/low-budget video, check out the clip for Die Doraus
und Die Marinas "Fred vom Jupiter". That was Andreas Dorau's first big
release (relatively speaking), back when he was still a wee teener.
Very, very '80s, kinda cute, and still worth a listen at this late date.

Cheers Pat, I made it to about 1 minute thirty in!
I like the sound of the production though. Especially the drums.
