Ian Pooley's new album, Since Then, is very nice - it has a warm Brazilian influence, a handful of vocal tracks. It's possibly his most full realised LP yet. Ian also has an EP on the way via Transmat under his Quiet Daze alias. He says it should hopefully come out this Autumn (that's the Northern Hemisphere). It will have four tracks. You will know his November from the Time: Space compilation.
Some info: Pooley's contract with V2 allows him to distribute material through other channels providing he uses an alias. Currently Ian is hoping to finally issue his Quiet Daze EP, Viewing The Decade, on Derrick May's Detroit-based Transmat label. Pooley says that the EP is completely different to Since Then, signalling both a return to his roots and his own take on the classic Detroit sound.
