We need more threads like this. Thanks for the Deep Space Orchestra tip. Seems
they have had a lot coming out lately and I missed that one. Sounds right up my
alley.

Not all Detroit (but, all Detroitish) and not all new (although, most are
fairly new):

Shlomi Aber - Basic Roots - Ovum Recordings
I am a sucker for moody, stringy stuff like this one. Very nice.

Bear Trax Volume 1 - Taho's Deep Canon (Brian Kage Edit) - Beretta Red
Very good comp all around but this track really stands out to me. Can't pass up
throwing it on every time I flip to it.

Ernesto Ferreyra - Bakana - Lomidhigh Organic
Hard not to shake your booty to this one. Those with the z gene will appreciate
it. Sounds very good loud, unless you are one of my neighbors :)

Goapele - Closer (DJ Spinna Remix) - Loveslap! Recordings
This is on an old Omar S mix that has been in my car for years. Finally got
around to searching for it. It took a whole 3 minutes to find it on youtube and
then to purchase it on discogs. Internet = instant gratification.

Delano Smith - Direct Drive - Mixmode Recordings
Can't think of a Delano track that I don't like and his new one is especially
deep and smooth.

Thoughts From Chicago Vol. 3 - Eargasmic Recordings
Both sides of this pretty purple 7" are doing it for me.

Add to this list anything and everything by Chicago Skyway.

Still looking forward to the new Assorted Elements EP on NDATL. Mr. Pittman has
one coming out on Seventh Sign that sounds nice as well. Waiting for Party
Store too. When does it hit?
