Saw a fair bit of Electrobounce and then went out to Detroit Threads for my first visit there -- excellent vinyl selection in many genres, got an old Dazz Band, DJ Seoul/T Linder on the in-house Detroit Threads label, new Model 500 on R&S, Billeebob's Sunshine and a bit scratchy but usable copy of Amazon which I didn't have on 12". Oh yeah, and Threads slip mats :)
Back to the festival in time for the skies to open, although I watched the last bit of Aril Brikha's set, he was really good. Joined up with Denise for a beer at Foran's and chili cheese fries at Lafayette, how more Detroit can you get! Tonight is House Night for me -- Kai Alce, Brett Dancer and Omar S (who I've never seen play) at 1515 Broadway, maybe one other party. The boat party, Richie & Magda at the City Club and the Dave Clarke/ Roni Size/Umek/Godfather extravaganza at Bert's in Eastern Market all apparently sold out ahead of time, which is pretty amazing -- that's a gazillion tickets.
