Heya Jason, The Robert Johnson club is probably a better choice than Cocoon, they def get some good acts through there.
There is a tiny little bar called "The Place To Be", great place to get your drink on before a larger night on the town. http://www.provinyl.de/ is a great record store and has some amazing finds (when I was there a few years back).
