There is also Peoples Records. They recently moved to a new location in the Majestic/Magic Stick complex on Woodward. I heard S.I.D. will be open during the fest this year as well. They were not open last year. The best place by far is Detroit Threads in my opinion. They get new and used stuff in all of the time. Plus artists like Theo, Kyle Hall, etc hand deliver their new releases as soon as they get them. Melodies and Memories, sadly, doesn't get much new stuff in at all. They have had the same records on the wall in the dance room for the last 2-3 years.
