Music helps in the good times and also helps in challenging times like we are currently facing with the COVID-19 situation.
Some techno legends continue to release new music. Last month, it was Blake Baxter with his "Into The Groove" collaboration with Abe Duque released on Kevin's Saunderson's KMS imprint. April will see new material out from Eddie Fowlkes and also Thomas Barnett. Eddie has restarted City Boy Music and his "Knuckle Head" series will see EPs released in April and May and a third to follow later in the year. The first release is two songs, not sure about the others, and is out April 17. Many don't realize that Thomas Barnett is the man behind "Nude Photo". He operates the Visillusion label; the "Low Tech Funk" EP is due out the same day as Eddie's release. A nice coincidence. "Low Tech Funk" features 3 new songs from TB and 3 from friend Ecilo.
