Yeah - couldn't agree with you more that the instrumental version is superior. Must say, I'd like it even more if he took the keys out. It starts with that incredible dark, brooding beat, very different for him, then runs into the keys which seem a little out of place. But the vocals seemed very out of place. Oh well.
