If it's not any of the tracks already suggested then I reckon it's a 12" on
Eevolute by 2001. Not sure of the title, but perhaps someone else could be
more specific (Stefan?). If it's the one I'm thinking of, it has a long
breakdown with just some closed hats on the beat and a kinda funky squeaking
noise, then this really dark stab cuts in and the track kicks off (does this
sound familiar, or am I completely off base!?). The same track's also
featured on Claude Young's 'DJ Friendship' mix CD (Japan only) - mixed with
an Advent tune I think.
