I think I kind of got out of hand yesterday with the 'humorous' posts
in response to Diane's "How to be a DJ Ho."

I'd like to apologize to her for giving the impression I meant to minimize
her as a person, a member of the extended Detroit Music family, or as a
journalist. I have nothing but respect for her on all those counts.

I really want electronic music to become more inclusive of women and
less of a boy's club. In my own small way I've tried to make that happen,
by booking women DJs whenever I have a say in the matter. Diane is
an intelligent, articulate person with a lot to offer to this scene,
and I would not want my puerile jokes to lead anyone to take her less than
seriously.
