Well it was quite a great set, quite a lot of old material was covered through his very zany mixing style, starting with some New Order - going through some classic UR, Red Planet to early Tresor stuff and even dropping some classic electroesque ala Cybotron, Aux 88 and Fix. The crowd was quite small but dedicated. And who can ever forget those wild facial expressions whilst he was in the mix. My highlight was when he played Seawolf, followed by Nocturbulus Behaviour.
Huge sound for a relatively short guy, James Pennington really rocked the floor here in Perth last Saturday. Don't miss him if he plays around your neighbourhood. One other Q I have is - when was the last time he played Detroit? How often did he play...? A_Zed
