Good music is good music. There's good 'trippiness' in the sense that just by listening to the music, you have some inkling of an altered state, without taking a drug. As I stated before, humans are always looking for a change from their normal everyday consciousness. Some of that stuff should be sold under the logo "WE DO THE DRUGS SO U DON'T HAVE TO!"
If you want to know what's REALLY trippy -- once when I was setting up for a show, I played the 110hz sine wave test tone from my Promix at top volume over a club sound system.
