I will add my favorite jazzy Detroit(ish) techno:

Anything on the Ferox label but these in particular-
Adventures In Techno Soul - various artists (Ferox)
Further Adventures In Techno Soul - same as above
Ian O'Brien - Monkey Jazz (Ferox)

Ian O'Brien - Gigantic Days (Peacefrog)

Anything by Chris Gray (which actually crosses over into house but whose paying attention ot boundries, eh?)

Ken Ishii - Circular Motion (R&S)

Slam Mode - Clouds (again into the house realm but this is so far gone, way out and soft as a marshmellow.)

Heiko Laux & Johannes Heil - No Gain No Pain (i220)
Heiko Laux - No Gain No Pain (remixes) (i220)

There is also stuff on the Swim~ label
http://www.kleber.net/swim/swim.html
that falls into this area most notably artists like Lobe, Mark Gage, and G Man (Gez Varley of LFO)

Although I wouldn't really call Metroplex's 24 (Starlight) jazzy. It's more in the dub/basic channel pigeonhole.

Well Mr Wv,
You seem to be a big fan of weather report... Surely then you can offer up
