oh ya, a bit more energy:
how does declaring to the list your hate for trance progress anything?
- it doesn't. it was a statement of personal opinion from personal experience. nothing more. you're reading too much into it.

you don't blow your own horn- except for just now ;-)
- i think you needed to hear my confidence, pride and love for what i do and have been doing for the past year and a half with electronic music. - i know, i know: i'm still a rookie, no need for a new arguement ;) you have to start somewhere

as it seems that your attempting to hurt my feelings. try harder.
- not trying at all actually, nor do i want to

Again, if you knew anything, you'd know that hawtin is one of my biggest influences, as is theorem.
- we do have something in common. neat. what does "if you knew anything" mean? a kid's game right? how would i know you like richie and theorem? do i know you from somewhere?

But back to my point: what does writing an email with a subject
that strictly says "i want everyone to know that i hate trance," have
anything to do with promoting good music?
- if you read my original email you would know i didn't say that. i said: "I just wanted to let all of you know how violated the trance crap made me feel". that was my opinion from my personal experience the night before. i was somewhat open minded about trance before that. but i really felt let down by the music. the dj could've been a great dj. i just heard him play some awful trance tracks and after spinning a set that ranged from bare bones german minimal techno early in the night to house, disco house and tribal techno it really upset me as a music lover to hear overprocessed trance synth tracks.

the end of this thread ...(or not?)
