If trance does it for that dj that came on after, then that's fine... but generally speaking trance is the choice of people who don't know electronic music. It is sitting on the surface, you have to really search for good music.
I watched a show on Channel 4 yesterday, talking about dumbing down in the media in the UK. I'd never seen such a bunch of pompous w*nk*rs in one room in my whole life!!!! It seemed to all boil down to class in their eyes. As if opera should only be listened to by members of high society. And that sh*tty shows like that crap "Big Brother" (sorry to all non-UK 313ers who prolly won't know what I'm on about) are for the lower classes. It seems to me that the high society are following trends too. They listen to opera and go to all the right parties and stuff because if they don't they won't "fit in" the same with "lower classes". Kids into cheesy trance listen to it because their mates listen to it not because they necessarily like it. They just don't know anything else. Same with lots of these 313ers too. They all complain about trance and like the same things and hate the same things not because they feel it in their hearts but because they need to fit in their peer group... I listen to opera (good opera that is) and some classical stuff and whatever. I don't need to follow any trends. Why do you have to all follow each other? You end up just going around and around in circles!!! I like what I like, you aren't robots, you're people... You make your own decisions and choices... I hat Richie Hawtin his music is crap same with the FUSE?LFO tune "Loop"... pants... I wouldn't waste my money on it... What has become of society where they no longer search anymore, no longer have any imagination or innovation or curiosity? This isn't just a question about techno... It involves the whole state of humanity... I especially see the apathy and stupidity of the people in the UK... What a sh*thole this country is... The point is stop arguing over each individual's views. Individuality is rare these days and it is the only way things advance... Don't diss and flam these people, absorb and learn... out, Nick (Dj Pacific:) --- "Jayson B." <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > >If someone doesn't like a style of music I wouldn't > call it following a > >trend. > > > its not a matter of liking one genre and disliking > another.
