The harder minimal stuff sounds better mixed quickly, but some of the deeper Detroit style Techno could sound better blended - it all depends on the tunes you're playing. All I can say to anyone who doesn't appreciate the fast style of mixing is "Listen to Dave Clarke mix". If you still don't like that style then it's obviously just not your cup of tea!
