Really, crossing the border from Windsor to Detroit is not that much of a
"drag" or "pain" or whatever everyone seems to think it is. I cross nearly
every day and I've never had any trouble nor did I experience any while
crossing to last year's festival. Here's some tips for a simple and quick
crossing. Be certain of the country of your birth and say it when they ask
you "citizen of what country?" Then when they say "where are you going?"
just tell them "the electronic music festival at Hart Plaza." I know it
sounds tricky but it works. Also note that the tunnel bus takes you right
to the gate of the festival if you decide that parking is a "hassle" too.
