Contentious, contentious - I don't know, I don't know..... I think California Love was his greatest single production - probably the biggest ever hip-hop track in this country, partly thanks to the video being based on Mad Max. I think Dre has remained very consistent. Actually there is that Drexciya track that sounds very Dre like, Funk Valve (?), sounds great with The Watcher.
