I don't think asking a DJ what they're playing is rude at, seems to me like more of a compliment, well it's one thing to interrupt someone when concentrating, but simply asking what a record is at the appropriate time should not be considered rude, and anyone with that attitude is way too full of themselves if you ask me. DJ's exist to spread the music and educate about the music they choose to play IMO
