Speaking of Radiohead, their 'Kid A' track 'Idioteque' is exclusively
featured on the electro half of Dave 'laughing boy' Clarke's ace forthcoming
'World Service' double mix album - 'Idioteque' was promoed on vinyl late
last year. And what a superb track it is, too - fits perfectly with the
electro as well. If only 1% of techno artists had 1% of Radiohead's fire and
imagination...

313 connection? Unsurprisingly both the CDs feature cuts from the D - full

Since Dave Clarke's debut album 'Archive 1' back in 1996 which contained one
of dance music's greatest electronic anthems in 'Red 2' the Clarkester has
gone on to become one of the world's most sought-after techno producers and
almost certainly the genre's biggest DJ, taking his uncompromising
underground style around the globe.

This Two CD pack is entirely representative of Dave¹s DJing style. CD1 is an
uncompromising club techno set featuring Stacey Pullen, Jeff Mills, Gaetano
Parisio, Joey Beltram, Suregon and culminating in the Horrorist¹s terrfiying
mix of Horrormone. Disc two is an eclectic electro mix, with tracks like the
ultra cool Idioteque by Radiohead (of which this is the first and only
compilation to get a licence from OKid A¹), Anthony Rother¹s Red Light
District, the warped punk electro of New York¹s Fischerspooner crew and the
Detroit sound of electronic funk represented by artists like Adult, Japanese
Telecom and Keith Tucker.

Both discs are live one-take mixes and demonstrate his hands-on fast,
aggressive mixing style. Records are phased to the point where the speakers
quake and cut sharp enough to slice kevlar. Some of the mixes are drawn out
and twisted into new forms whilst others are perfectly executed strokes of
the cross fader. In an age of computer mixed albums with some smiling idiot
jocks name and face attached Dave Clarke demonstrates the energy and on the
spot inventiveness of a technical dj. There are moments when, like a good
punk band, everything sounds like it will fall apart and yet is all held
together and fully resolved with no struggle or disruption to the dynamic
and energy of the mix.

Dave can be regularly seen DJing gigs in the world's best clubs and
regularly travels more air miles than you can shake a stick at. Regularly
playing at the UK's Bugged Out!, Belfast¹s Shine, Birmingham¹s Atomic Jam,
London¹s Headstart, Barcelona's Nitsa and Belgium's Fuse club Dave also
became the first underground techno dj to headline the dance tent at last
year¹s Glastonbury Festival. His DJ sets are also regularly broadcast live.

When he's not DJing in the world's most groundbreaking clubs he's in his
studio producing his radio show 'Technology' that is currently being
syndicated worldwide and he recently acheived a childhood ambition of
playing a live mix Peel Session with the one and only John Peel in
attendance (and 150 mad clubbers!). Last year he won the Essential Mix of
the Year Award at the Muzik Awards. The word Ojustice¹ springs to mind.

Last year also saw a limited 12² on longtime friend Hell¹s International DJ
Gigolo imprint. OThe Compass¹ created so much interest that Pete Tong begged
to get a copy (only to make it his OEssential New Tune!¹). This was then
swiftly followed by the unusually titled OBefore I Was So Rudely Interupted
Parts 1 and 2¹ available only as MP3 downloads from iCrunch. Displaying his
electro and then techno side the amount of requests for the tracks would
have dented the UK Top 10 if made more regularly commercially available. But
then don¹t expect Dave to do the norm.

Elsewhere Dave has been busy in the remix department re-working Mirwais,
Depeche Mode, Midfield General, Goodfellas, Faithless and just incase that
wasn¹t techno enough for you - Regis from Birmingham¹s Downwards label.

You will be able to catch Dave spinning at the OWorld Service¹ album launch
party on April 14th at Headstart, Turnmills, London. The following dates are
