I think before yelling at the magazine and leading an uprising it might be wise to calmly contact the editors and find out the deal. It could be a number of factors like the _writer_ didn't identify Alan when submitting the picts as part of the caption, or editorial or a number of possibilities. I don't think it has much with detroit "getting its due", if anything most of these mags now have at least ONE detroit feature,event review of record review per issue. OR *gasp* perhaps Alan (with all due respect of course) just didn't make that big of an impression on the _writer_ that night-who knows.
