it wasn't meant as an insult to the guy but more to say if he wants to be any kind of dj he should play what he feels not what other people say they like/want to hear. if he plays the music he loves the crowd will either enjoy or hate and those who enjoy will come hear him play the music he loves again.
if he's gonna listen to other people he may as well stand in the corner of the room with a list of his tunes and a coin slot up his arse. paul ----- Original Message ----- From: Nick Walsh <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, March 29, 2001 3:23 PM Subject: Re: [313] i have to dj and i'm scared. > Hey, > > --- tristan watkins <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > --- paul <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > > jesus, if he's this worried why is he even djing. > > > and for a 'dj' to even ask other people what they > > > feel he should play, > > > well..... > > > > Come on, don't you think that's a bit harsh?
