i can comment on two of them. bln 400: gayle san: backbone ep this one has two tracks on it, "blackbone" on side a and "loophole" on side b. they're basically dj-tools, but very good ones. side a has a cool bassline while the title of side b says it all. if you've ever heard gayle san spinning, you'll know that these tracks fit perfectly in her sets. nice
bln 410: jay denham: revenge of a madman II the first "revenge of a madman" ep was released on fanon flower's mechanisms industries last year. and one can definitely hear the relationship between these two. the construction of the tracks (breaks, build ups etc.) is very similar to the corresponding tracks on each record. and while he played around more with the sounds on the first one, he seemed to concentrate on a more minimal and linear production on the second one. the result is even more forward moving than part I . great record, absolutely recommended (like the first one btw) peter ----- Original Message ----- From: K Hawkins <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> : On to other topics: anyone want to tell me about the new batch of Black : Nation releases?
