wow! 30 years. it's sad that most people don't even know why hash bash was started. to most it's just an excuse to hang out with a bunch of stoners and smoke some phatties. worse still is that people hear about the super lax marijuana laws in ann arbor and think they can just blaze away on the diag. unfortunately, for these and other unwitting poeople, u-m campus is subject to state law, as it is state, not city, property. accordingly, whose caught smoking on campus end up getting f*ucked. i recommend lighting up in front of the police station (or anywhere else in ann arbor).
