With respect I don't know how people come to the assumption that certain
artists are after the money without knowing them personally or having met
them and talked to them (you may have I don't know but it doesn't sound like
it). Me and my (shy) ed found MJ unbelievably approachable out here in Jan
to us and the punters and I think he is genuinely very passionate about what
he does - he was arranging for us to send some press to his mum. He also
supported the local garage DJs in a way that I don't often see. It is his
first album and it's a good thing not to peak with your first. I think he
and Wookie are worried about being tied to an over-hyped scene hence the
diversity, also both came from other scenes before, so they don't really
feel affiliated with one style of music.
