In a way, its not just the rarity but also a good way to show our appreciation for a record. and its so humiliating to see ur tunes stuck in the bargainbassment....i have a pile of that dusk thing i did on 100%pure at home couldnt bare the site of em in the midtown bassment for 2.50 each...bought em all... it´s that sorta control over ur creations which i really like, i want my stuff to be top-quality and what the listener thinks is important, if people r not buying i go back in the studio and try again. when people do not buy because its available for free on napster i couldn´t garantee that quality, i really need feedback to evolve as an "artist"(ooh, goin all pretentious here...lol). guess makin music is a two way thing, even if sometimes ur just a hermit in a depressing cellar pressing buttons..
