I'm not sure that he's based in Detroit anymore. He used to be an Ypsi native. He's made all sorts of great hard techno records and wowed people at the last demf. I have one of his 12"'s on the konsequent label, and he used to run Mechanism Industries.

I'm sure people can help you out more, but it's really no wonder that people sort of surface and drop off the face of the earth. They get jobs, go to school, move out of the 313/248/810/734, have to sell their gear, get married, etc. There are countless reasons many great unknown producers put out one record and then just run out of time to make music.
