Not another Moby Thread? Anyway, I'll put my 2 pence worth into this one, I'm sure I'll regret it.... Moby writes pleasant to listen to pop tunes. The are not ground breaking and they're not Techno. They're easy to pick up, and easy to put down and probably won't change your life due to listening to them. Fat Boy Slim makes dreadful music that sounds about 8 years old. He uses old samples from breakbeat records and does totally nothing to them. He's also so full of himself in magazine interviews and always seems to be "the voice of dance music" over here. He really gets on my t*ts. I have nothing against sampling, so long as something creative is done with it. I cannot stand this arguement about white artists not sampling black artists because it's a total load of racist c---.
