Actually I was wrong it Mutek IS the weekend after DEMF, but to confirm for Tristan, it most certainly is not in Toronto. Go to www.mutek.ca for yourself and see the lineup, peruse a well made site.
As for Toronto nightlife John, it's bright as ever. Overflowing actually with everything you could ask for. A good place to start looking is the Tribe message board at www.tribe.ca Tribe is T.O's local party magazine, and while the message board can look a little out of hand you will definetly find what you want there. I can tell you right now that on June 1st Herbert will be in town along with Ric y Martin (Ricardo Villalobos and Dandy Jack) live, as well as local house/techno killer Adam Marshall with a live Cuban Band (sorry I forget their name) and my personal favourite Zuzanna Grimm.
