Probably true. The president himself is certainly a figurehead and there are MANY other factors/people which/who determine policy making.
There was an interesting article I once read about the Bush family's involvement with Nazi factions. The article argues that generations back they actually supported the Nazi party, as many other influencial/wealthy people supposedly did as well. Scary stuff, I wonder how much of it is truth and how much is speculation... who knows??? I wish I had a source for y'all to look at online. It was a website, but I don't remember what the link was.
