i'd call you a chump right back but i am not so
presumptious as to lie myself into believing that i
know you or anything about you. therefore i wouldn't
call you any names.
i got on this list to talk about and learn about
detroit techno. i did not get on the list to learn
the website of the libertarian party or why george
bush has ties to secret societies. if i wanted to
know about those things i would simply punch the words
into my search engine and surf away.
in the latest digest version alone i would wager
that about 70% of the content had absolutely nothing
to do with detroit techno. it didn't even have
anything to do with the political nature of groups
like underground resistance or the beta bodega
___?____.
you made an assumption about me that i was
"smiley's cousin or something." well to answer your
jab... i am not, nor do i know who smiley is. it is
correct that i kept my mouth shut when members were
posting links to stupid flash animation. but at least
it was only a link instead of the insidious drool of
non-stop political posturing.
all that i ask is that people stop with the crap
which is overtly and unabashedly political or
religious. it is offensive to say the least to any
catholics or mormons who have somehow been linked to
the evil plot of corporations to take over our very
existence. i am offended as a catholic to be linked
in this way. my dad said a long time ago to me that
if i ever wanted to cause a bar fight all i had to do
was mention religion or politics. that is what has
occurred here.
rather keep the list to what it was intended
for...a forum for music discussion, it has turned into
a mailing list for the left-wing activists. this i
don't appreciate. furthermore, i thought this was a
moderated list.
