Bush was voted in by white males, he didn't get signifcant votes from women
or people of colour.
Traditionally most African-Americans vote Democrat. Also Bush got in by
disenfranchising Latin and African-American voters in Florida - I think this
was to be challenged by the NAACP but I haven't read anything more about
this. I often wonder how voting patterns would change if voting was
compulsory in the US as it is in Australia. Very OT post on my part.....
