totally disagree with you on this front. this song is about the
opression
of african americans over the centuries and the ability to change the future
by changing yourself. i don't hear one lyric in that song
that isn't sincere and direct to the point. i don't hear roy ayers crooning
about "planet 1" or whatever it is you call earth. i've had to listen to
that song over and over again too.

agreed on both fronts. they are environmentally and socially provocative
compositions. but i don't
recall reading anywhere Dego making a statement on either 2000black
track
or the 4hero track saying
he is out to rail against big money or george w or the oil companies.
think about it. sometimes a lyric is just a lyric.
