Paul Johnson has a couple of things out on Djax, the "Psycho Kong" is
one, I believe "Foreign Music" is another (I think this one has the
original "Donkey Kong" track). I think he is also represented on the
Warehouse remix 2X12". All these releases represent the tracky side of
Paul Johnson, rather than the "Get Get Down" side. Thank God.....
If you really yearn to know more about these and other releases on Djax,
the Sonic Grooves web site used to have the whole Djax catalog in their
database, and you could also go to djax.nl. For a while, Djax was one of
the few places where an aspiring (or established) Chicago artist could
get published and paid.
