Jason, Your tax dollars may not be going directly to Canadian Law enforcement, but if your American your are contributing by drinking Canadian water and (in California) using Canadian hydro-electric power. If I'm correct (someone corrrect me if I'm not) both water works and hydro-electric power aren't yet privatized in the States. Therefore your federal tax dollars are being doled out to Canada for these commodities. It's a stickler's view but we do share the largest border in the world which pretty much means that in some way or another we share everything.
