Shepard Fairely is the man behind the creative, the group I'm referring to are the ones that help with postering printing etc. Shepard met them in/around Columbia SC when he lived in Charleston prior to moving to NY, sorry to confuse. My interest in this came about because the group I mention have a good ear for electronica and I think the minimalist nature of their posters parallels the style of music that this list is dedicated to.
Sorry for trying to tap the creative side of all this, I truly ologize:( I was excited to see a reference to art of some nature hit this list. Visual interpretation to me is such an important factor as to why the Detroit genre of music even exists. But your right we should be talking about what T-shirts we are all going to wear to DEMF and not topics that could hopefully influence someone to produce the next Sonic Sunset EP or War of The Worlds 12 inch. Ah those were the days... dK -----Original Message----- From: graham [tan] wilson [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Sunday, May 20, 2001 11:25 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [313] obey From: Dan Kurzius <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> : A couple of the guys behind the Giant stuff went to school here in Atlanta : and have since moved on to California, they have been doing this since the : late 80's. He was a new york design grad and I think he started doing it in 1990. Not to sure of the full details.. but check http://www.obeygiant.com back to the music huh? tan... -- graham [tan] wilson - MNEMIC IMAGE [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://fnord.fishwerx.org/tan --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
