On a tangent, what are other peoples' opinion of the 5 lp react set called "True People" released in 1996? I think that it was one of the early records i bought made by detroit artists. [silent phase (stacey pullen)-rewired mixes, red planet 6 - ghostdancer, purpose maker 3, planet e - elements of and expiriments w/sound, and an e-dancer release] those were some others. I appreciated it (true people) some, but i always kinda felt like some of those trax were ones that didn't make the cut on those artists' solo albums. Anyone else have any comment? I should give that set a listen to again.

i'm not sure what you mean by "True People," so excuse me if i make an
incorrect assumption. but one of the things i really enjoyed about last
year's event was the diversity of the crowd: people with gray hair
dancing next to four-year-olds, "gawkers" who came to check out the
festival and stayed, found themselves having a great time. i'd prefer to
enjoy the music alongside detroit residents than a crowd of exclusionary
scenesters.
