"Chicago" was originally on the Roy Ayers LP "Lots of Love", on Uno Melodic
Records (Roy's own label which also released Sylvia Striplin), in the early
80's.
The "Drive" LP was a re-issue of that album (1988 on Ichiban). "Drive" had
the same tracks, but with crap packaging (he looks cheesy as hell on there
w/that bicycle). Uno Melodic has just started
re-releasing some albums on CD (Lots of Love included!!), but no vinyl yet
AFAIK....
.jm.
It's Roy Ayers' "Chicago". The version you want is the last track on the
"Drive" LP on Ichiban records. The rest of the LP is a bit cack, but that
track is wicked.
