I hope you all get large and have to deal with a dozen interviews a week.
Then we'll see who's an ass and who isn't. FBS is british what the f***
does he care about XFL. Out of the three interviews that I've read with
him, he appears to be totally into his gear (especially his sampler), and
enjoys hanging out at his house and making music. Could any of you wish for
anything more? Or maybe he should more concerned about global issues? Like
Moby, that self righteous SOB who's been a marketing tool for the industry
for so long now? Do you think Moby labels himself techno? It's the
industry people that label everything, open your freaking eyes! We call it
what we want, journalists call it what they think everyone will understand
it to be (write for the lowest common denominator, christ aren't half of you
people journalists anyways?).

Some people seem to have problems when people on this list talk about DJ XYZ
(from Detroit's) bad drug habit, or how f***ed he/she looked when playing
out last night, or moreover how insanely egotistical they've become in the
last three years. However the same people have nothing to say in defence of
international artists who don't hit so close to home (with the exception of
Cyclone, who is probably the most professional and loving person I've never
had the chance of meeting).

As for the phrase 'throwaway pop music' how many people are going to be able
to remember what 'Rockafella Skank' sounds like three years from now? How
many people are going to remember what Kenny Larkin's 'Solace' sounds like?
'Throwaway pop music' is a relative term and could apply to your tunes
tommorow. Wouldn't that make you sad?

Cheers
todd
