Earlier this week I happened to pick up a 12" promo of Paula Abdul's "Straight Up" with a mix by none other then Kevin Saunderson on the a side. He gives the track a stripped down 80's sounding workout that turns out rather nice. As I'm reading the Paula Abdul discography I also notice that he did a mix of "Forever Your Girl". I was wondering if anyone knew the story of how he managed to get mixed up with the former laker girl or had any more info on these releases. The fact that they were both putting out records on Virgin had something to do with it, but it's an interesting combination none the less.
