If you are using outlook as your mail client and are sent the virus with
your the preview pane on, you will fire off the exe.  Turning the pane on
and off can be done under the 'View' menu for those not familiar with where
it lives.  Then if you get an unknown email you can just delete.  Be careful
of mails from friends with attachments as the virus scans for old subject
lines and uses those instead of easily recognizable ones.

Very nasty indeed.  Not only through compromised websites, but through email
(with attachment of "readme.exe" - that doesn't een have to be opened!) and
through the unicode hole that allowed the code red worm through.
