Picked up two 10"s on Orthlong Musork yesterday. Both are by Full Swing who did the cracking "Summer" 12 (listen to it after a couple of bottles of nice red wine just as you fall asleep, *please*) and are reedits of other artists: Monolake, Antenne and Autopoiesies. There are apparently 5 releases in the series, though only these 2 seem to be about. Both are great buzzy, clicky little soundscapes that take on the shape of room you play them in. Checking the website (www.musork.com) revealed there's plenty of stuff scheduled for release. I also had a listen to the new Pole album on ~scape "R" which has remixes by various ~scape artists. The standouts were the Kit Clayton and Pole mixes. Definitely worth checking if, unlike me, you aren't still (or never were) too f***ing poor to buy it.
Other things I haven't seen but heard of would include the Norma Jean Bell LP, Geoff White LP, Arne's 12" for Otto's Ground Zero, New World Aquarium 12" for their own label. If anyone could oblige me with their thoughts on these and other new tings I'd like it.
