My copies of 'Lake Shore Drive' (kdj & elevate) are identical. I have had my
kdj#5 for a bit, so I believe you may indeed have a "revised rerelease", as
you put it; IMO congrats, I haven't been able to catch any extra or
different tracks on any of the kdj rereleases I've seen.
cheers
.jm.
ps-- while we're on topic (kdj), someone was asking about that Soul Edge
12"; get it. It's got a really tough, bizarre, cut-up house track by Theo
(supposedly a remix?) called 'Get On Up' that beats the hell out of an old
Gil Scott-Heron sample...
please someone enlighten me: is theo parrish his "lake shore drive" on
the original kdj 5 the same track as the "lake shore drive" released on
elevate and sound signature? i recently found a copy of kdj 5 and the
mentioned track is a different one than the one on the releases on dan
bell's or theo parrish his own label. now i have the slight suspicion
that i stumpled upon a revised rerelease - not that unusual for kdj
rereleases as i gathered.
thanks
armin
