2002-01-11 :: Solvently One Synthesizes :: Igloo Invites Snow Robot,
Jason Amm into the Igloo..
"..Jason Amm (aka Solvent): My idea is to blur the distinctions between
80s vs contemporary synthesizer pop. At the moment for example, I find
Yazoo records in the "rock/pop" section, and Solvent records in the
"electronica"
section - it would be nice if these records could be filed together..."

2002-01-05 :: SND .,., ,.., .,., .,., .,.,., .,., ., .,.,., ,. ,..
SND was one of the performers during the Sonar 2001 festival, which took
place in beautiful Barcelona, Spain, in June. Snd played in an old chapel,
which
was way too small (loads of people never got in) and rather echoey at the back.
The day after, Mark Fell and Mat Steel of SND agreed to do a quick interview.

2002-01-05 :: Gamers In Exile / My Selfish Desire :: Split Your Cerebrum
Unbearable
"...Split Your Cerebrum sits somewhere between the two mediums, the music
occasionally fusing very well and at other times being slightly manic and

"...American label Plug Research puts out some unusual music, it's fair to
say. Sure,

claim. The music is unusual because it is incredibly hard to pigeon hole..."
